As it is said that everything that has a beginning must surely have an end. He has been the governor of Imo State Nigeria for 8years.Now it is time to bow out. This is his valedictory speech

“I came on a Rescue Mission. Many people did not understand it, they didn’t understand what I came to do. It was to rescue IMO from backwardness to progress, I am leaving IMO State that has the fastest growing capital city in Nigeria. I am leaving a state that does not witness terrible traffic jam anymore due to urban renewal project. I am leaving a state where the sons of nobodies can now become somebody without any godfather. I am leaving a state where women can get jobs and appointments without being first messed up in gratification. I came to demolish all evil altars and idols that held IMO State down in the past and to hand IMO State over to God that darkness cannot continue to cover the land.
….The covenant of IMO State being in the hands of God is symbolised by Akachi Tower and it is the last project I completed.
….Anybody can deny that I worked for IMO State to deliver results but let no one take away the fact that I gave my all, driven by passion and love for my state to offer my best. If I had more to offer, I could have done that because my love for you is deeper than you can comprehend…”
