The law stands that any accused person is innocent until proven guiilty in the court of law.
A lot has been going on in Nigeria recently including the death of University of Benin 100 level student called Uwa who was raped and killed in Redeemed Christian Church of God owned by a Nigerian reputable man of God,Pastor Adeboye.
According to the report,she formed a habit of going to the church premises to read and unfortunately she met her death inside the church where she was raped and killed.
Though the perpetrators of such evil had been captured and arrested by the police,the wound remains unhealed in the lives of her friends and relatives especially her father.
Uwa’s father who was converted to Christianity by her late daughter vowed to go back to his former ways of life as a traditionalist.
Uwa’s death opened a can of worms in Nigeria which made some persons to openly called out some celebrities for rape.
A Nigerian lady named Princess used her social media platform to narrate her experiences,how she was raped by a Nigerian singer Peruzzi.
This is her story,
Princess continued,
She kept narrating,
As it was not enough,another guy who goes by the name Action Ben accused Nigerian award winning singer Dbanj of raping his girlfriend who had decided to remain silent about the issue.
However ,the angry young man bursted the alleged secret as he couldn’t continue to keep silent as if nothing happened,
Truly,nobody could boldly say whether the accusers were clout chasers doing these for societal attention or they are out to destroy the artists.
Surprisingly,Peruzzi immediately called a witness who defended him in a live video chat.
According to the lady no such thing happened,
We are just watching events as they unfold but the message to such men who rape girls is “SAY NO TO RAPE”
