Popular Nigerian actress and film producer Funke Akindele was arrested for violation of law.
The actress/producer popularly known as Jenifa has had impeccable records of good conducts until when she threw a house party in her home in Lagos hours ago in honour of her husband JJCSkillz who celebrated his birthday.
The producer of Nigerian series “Jenifa’s Diary” and her husband invited friends and relatives to the party this time Coronavirus is at it’s peak. The likes Naira Marley and others attended the houseparty. They were all seen in a video,dancing,dining and drinking.
People were angry given that Funke Akindele and her husband are public figures who are expected to live exemplary lives worthy of emulation rather they were flouting the social orders given by government to reduce the further spread of the deadly Coronavirus.
The main reasons Nigerians reacted differently were these,
Funke was used by National Centre For Disease Control(NCDC ) for an enlightenment campaign to create awareness concerning Coronavirus pandemic to Nigerians
She is an ambassador to Dettol Company in Nigeria.
As a health ambassador she was expected to lead by example

Funke Akindele arrested for violating restriction orders in Lagos. .
Attention of Lagos State Police Command was drawn to a viral video showing a large number of persons mainly in the entertainment industry in an Estate, along Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki axis, Lagos celebrating a birthday party organised by Funke Akindele Bello and her husband. .
Police detectives from the State CID Yaba were promptly drafted to the location. Funke Akindele was arrested. .
Investigation is ongoing, efforts are intensified to arrest the remaining persons in the video, among whom are Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley and Abdul Rasheed Bello a.k.a. JJC Skillz. They are in their best interests urged to report at the State CID Yaba on Monday 6th April, 2020 or risk being declared wanted. .

However,some Nigerians discussing of her arrest on social media (instablog)felt that her arrest might be fake .This should be as a result of ignorance.
