Imo Women Demonstrate Now In Abuja Rejecting The Supreme Judgement On Imo Gubernatorial Election.This is ongoing.
The Judgement of the Supreme Court cannot stand according to the Imo women who are currently having a peaceful demonstration in Abuja.
They are demanding that there was a miscarriage of Justice by the Supreme Court which is the apex court that gives the final judgement in the land.
One would ask,how far can they go with such request?
Their placards read “Save Our Judiciary”
Imo state women are calling for justice as they said,
” The judgment on Imo Guber election by the Supreme Court is a miscarriage of justice. This judgment cannot stand, it must be reversed. “
They are calling organizations like the UN ,US Embassy Abuja, EU in Nigeria ,EU Commission to intervene and ask the Supreme Court to reverse the judgement in favour of Emeka Ihedioha .
Other groups were equally seen demonstrating in Imo State
Though Emeka Ihedioha did well the few months he was the executive governor but this will be hard given that Supreme court is involved.
