The convoy of former governor of Kano State and the leader of Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Kano Rabiu Kwankwanso was attacked in Kofa village in Bebeji Local Government Area on their way to a joint final rally with the State PDP governorship candidate Abba Yakubu in Kiru and Bebeji.
Many supporters from both camps lost their lives as it has been confirmed by the Kano State Police Command spokesperson Mr. Haruna Abdullahi
He confirmed that bulky numbers of police men have been sent to ascertain the degree of casualties.
